Prince of Magic

Magic is a tool bestowed upon the humanoid race first by the Prince of Magic. Its domain, more often referred to as the Arcana Domain is a only known source of arcane powers for clerics. This domain refers to all magic, however, whether it be divine, primal, or arcane as most magic tends to be. This prince was attributed to have given birth to the first sorcerers and sorceresses of the world, putting the magical spark in humanlike hands for ethernity.

Current Prince

The current prince of Magic is known as Kara, something which we know for a fact as she likes to keep her realm open to those wishing to learn more of the arcane arts. She was once known as a benevolent woman who spent her days attempting to unlock the key to magic in her mortal form. Experiments upon experiments left her with nothing to show, but with sheer dedication and strength she kept going on and on... She was one of the few not to die and be brought before the creator, rather the creator seems to have awakened the magical powers within her, ascending her beyond mortal limits and making her the princess she is today.

The University

She did, however, take it upon herself after her ascension to found a university in a demiplane known as the Sirivian University. A magical school only the most dedicated children and adults get to attend.

Within this university there are three major colleges, known as the colleges of Florae Astrae and Shaedra^{Of the: Plants, Skies, Shadows.} each of which specialised in their own branch of magic, namely Evocation, Divination and Abjuration. Though all other forms of magic are also thaught at this school. This universal acceptance of her acts towards mankind has lead to her being the only prince not banished during the early war of souls.

Religion

Naturally, there are those who follow her religion. One that focuses on the pursuit of knowledge and allowing casters of all kinds to practice their magic in peace. Necromancy is key among these kinds of practitioners, as it is not only legal to perform necromantic arts but it is encouraged as artwork in it of itself. There is belief that everyone can unlock magical potential, some just have to work harder for it. If you cannot develop magic after years of training you are considered to be unattuned, which brings with it huge shame assuming you or your forbearers did something to anger the princess.

Adaptive

Dogmatic adherence to old restrictions only harms the faithful. As long as we stay true to the core beliefs of our faith, we may adapt our laws to the world around us.

Ritual Celebrations

The worship of the divine is something to be exalted in and shared with our community. Organizing great festivals to honor and praise the divine brings us all together.

Culture

Unlike all other princes the domain over which the Prince of Magic rules has not had its culture go extinct. Culturally those who keep this prince in mind do whatever they can to further their magical powers, without making deals with other entities that may seek to corrupt their divine gift. Magic is widespread and fully accepted, those who are incapable of magic either through refusal to practice or divinely unattuned are shunned.
